C.A.R.T.S. Program
Lemonade Stand Bootcamp’s comprehensive education and workforce development initiative is designed to prepare youth in the underserved communities for long-term personal, educational, and economic success. The program provides practical, hands-on training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, career development, workforce readiness, leadership, and life skills that participants can immediately apply in their daily lives.
The CARTS Program was created to bridge the gap between traditional education and real-world success. While many individuals graduate from school with academic knowledge, they often lack the practical skills needed to manage money, secure meaningful employment, start a business, or build generational wealth. CARTS addresses these gaps through interactive workshops, business simulations, project-based learning, mentorship, and community engagement.
Participants develop essential skills in budgeting, banking, credit, investing, business development, communication, leadership, digital technology, problem-solving, and professional etiquette. The program also introduces career exploration, workforce preparation, and entrepreneurial thinking, equipping participants to pursue higher education, employment, skilled trades, or business ownership.
What makes the CARTS Program unique is its emphasis on experiential learning. Rather than relying solely on lectures, participants engage in hands-on activities, real-world business challenges, financial simulations, marketplace experiences, and collaborative projects that reinforce learning while building confidence and leadership skills.
Through the CARTS Program, Lemonade Stand Bootcamp empowers participants to become financially responsible, career-ready, entrepreneurial, and community-minded leaders. By combining education with practical experience, the program equips youth and families with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to create lasting economic opportunity, strengthen their communities, and build a foundation for generational success.
The CARTS Program (Community Advancement Resource Training Services) is your flagship workforce, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career development program. It provides Creative Achievement, Readiness, Technology, & Success to youth. Unlike the Know Thyself Program, which focuses on identity and personal growth, the CARTS Program focuses on developing practical life, career, and business skills that prepare participants for college, careers, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility.
