Become a Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who are Minority professionals and business owners to influence our youth. Studies show that when disadvantaged youth see professional minority people as role models, they tend to follow in that role model’s footsteps. The problem is we have more negative role models than positive ones. Thus, the reason our young people want to play sports or become rappers. We must alleviate this problem by showing our youth that there are more of us out in the community that wants to help them. If we show them that we care, they will reciprocate what we show them and become positive influencers themselves.

BE THE CHANGE OUR YOUTH NEED!

Get started simply send us an email letting us know that you're interested in participating in being a volunteer in our program. Please give us 24 - 48 hours to respond. In the email please let us know specifically in how you intend to volunteer.

We will send you an application that must be completed. We know this seems tedious, but because we are working with young people we must vet our volunteers for the safety of our youth and the volunteer.

If your application is accepted, we will call you and set up an appointment for an interview. Don't get nervous, we want to just ask you a few questions about your field of expertise and see where you will fit most for the program. Because we are working with young people, we do background checks on our participants.

After the interview we will need to do a background check. Again, because we are working with you, we have to make sure they are safe at all time.
