Our Goals & Mission

Our objective is to empower underprivileged youth by nurturing their potential and instilling financial awareness as they transition into adulthood. We aim to equip them with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and grow their finances in today's dynamic landscape. Leveraging the influence of Hip Hop culture, we harness its positive elements to educate our youth about the significance of money and its workings in the modern world.

What We Do!

We Provide the Tools to Help Educate Our Youth

We’ve embraced modern learning preferences with interactive digital tools, using role-playing, call and response, and songs to reinforce lessons—reflecting the culturally familiar teaching methods, akin to how many young people absorb information in church traditions, and cultural backgrounds.

We meet our young people where they are and help them learn about money, budgeting, credit, investments, branding, marketing, product development, and more. Our education focuses on 5 primary areas that help develop well-rounded productive, community-oriented citizens.

Why We Do It

We Want To Give Our Youth A Fighting Chance

We believe that if we give our youth the experiences they need to become financially astute, they will use what they have learned to change their situations and become more productive in the community.

More importantly, they will not just learn but reach and teach others, allowing them to be leaders within our community. This will give youth not just a fighting chance, but cause our community to change as our youth become producers one generation at a time.

What people want to know most about us and our program.

The Lemonade Stand Bootcamp is a non-profit
501(c) 3 organization that is dedicated to helping
disadvantage youth become financially literate, economically capable, and self-confident.

Our EIN is 92-1211020.

We believe that Financial Literacy and Business Development will help bring harmony to our community by tapping into the future of our young people. We decided that if we stopped talking and started teaching it would change the mindset of America’s views on the disadvantage communities. It would also change how the disadvantaged community views itself.

We have several program designed to help teach our youth about financial literacy and business development. Our programs are formatted and designed to encourage young people to see a different view on who they are and how they can make a difference. We do this by:

  1. We use a completely different form of education through interactive programs that attract young people to learn how to better themselves.
  2. We’ve gamified financial literacy, business development, and leadership so that young people can learn and have fun as they learn.

  3. We provide parents with education, tools, and resources to help reinforce what their kids are learning from our programs to continue the learning of generational wealth.

  4. We focus on areas where inner city youth are being targeted by drugs, and crime by changing their focus by providing them with creative, legal, and productive opportunities where they can learn how to improve their circumstances.

How We Came Up with Our
Programs

We needed something that once it hit, would sever the carotid artery of poverty that stricken the disadvantaged community. We sat down and came up with a plan to convert this group of people from consumers into producers.

In the past 2 years, we developed an opportunity that is being used to teach youth about financial literacy which includes historical aspects of money, banking, and credit. In addition, our program uses a blend of art, science, technology, engineering, and math, as well as historical references in our learning methods, we captivate our audience and facilitate meaningful connections. After testing out the program on several groups of youth we found that the information retained by the youth that participated was about 70%. Giving them a better outlook on life and their futures.
